1964 Omega Seamaster 30 - Republic of Singapore Air Force Issued
[Now Offered]:
Incredibly proud to offer a piece of early Singapore military history:
1964 Omega Seamaster 30 — Ref. 135.007-64.
Issued to the first generation of Singapore air defense personnel — the group that would go on to form the Singapore Air Defence Command (and later the RSAF).
The black military dial is exactly what you want to see — clean, legible, and retaining its original lume throughout.
Turn it over and the familiar Seamaster hippocampus is there — but it’s the engraving beneath that matters:
A/1965 — denoting military property, and separating this from standard civilian examples.
Fittingly, 1965 was the year Singapore declared independence from Malaysia.
Inside, a beautifully preserved Omega Cal. 286 — the final evolution of the brand’s legendary 30mm manual-wind movements. Running strong and keeping good time.
Fitted on a stealth khaki NATO from @rsmwatchstrap — a subtle nod to where this watch’s story began 🇸🇬.
This is exactly the kind of piece I aim to offer at @meyran.vintage.
